the way up the stairs of Giotto&#39;s campanile<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Our evening ended&#8211; after a three hour dinner involving copious amounts of alcohol&#8211; with me tumbling across the street then sliding on my knees for about 10 yards after tripping over a curb.\u00a0 The fall was so violent that used museum tickets and paper money were ejected from my pockets.\u00a0 I call that a great finish to a fantastic day.<\/p>\n<p>Our itinerary included The Accademia, Santa Croce church and climbing all 490+ steps of Giotto&#8217;s campanile (while sober thankfully).<\/p>\n<p>Since the only way to
